Inspiration: As an artist, I can find inspiration in a lot of things but I mostly look to nature.
My motto: I have no regrets in my life. I think that everything happens to you for a reason. The hard times that you go through build character, making you a much stronger person.
Really love: Designing and building furniture, textiles and painting. I also love being outdoors. I could spend an entire day water skiing, swimming and biking.
Related Experience / Education, etc: Bachelors Degree: Integrated Studio Arts
Strongly dislike: Chocolate, coffee and rainy days.
Favorite memory: Growing up we had a mini bike and my dad would take me for rides around the back yard. It was such a thrill when I was younger. To this day, we still own the mini bike but a little out of commission.
Perfect day: My perfect day would absolutely have to include the outdoors, on a warm, sunny day. Majority of the day would be spent doing some sort of water sport as well as a little rock climbing, a newly discovered activity. Concluding with a nice relaxing dinner outside.
Favorite book: The book Of Mice and Men always has stuck with me since High School.
Favorite movie: I may not seem like the type, but I honestly love the Star Wars movies. SciFi-Action is typically what I like, but none of that vampire stuff.
Favorite song or album: I like just about anything as long as it's not screaming at me.
Favorite vacation destination: After my trip to Europe, I have been infected with the traveling bug. I don't think I could choose one particular place as a favorite.
Favorite food: Sushi
Favorite holiday: For no particular reason, Cinco de Mayo.
Favorite subject when I was in school: All the way through high school I loved math, I just wish I had more of a use for it now.
Childhood ambition: I always thought I could be the next Nancy Karrigan even though I was no where near an expert on the ice.
First job: Not the most ideal job, but I worked in the basement of my orthodontist to trim the plaster models of all the patients.
